A healthy eating plan is a way of eating and therefore a way of living which the whole family can enjoy and also benefit from.   There are no bad food choices, all foods are good.  There are unfortunately unhealthy eating habits. Eating  too many high fat foods or skipping meals are very unhealthy. It is important to have regular meals throughout the day.
 
 
 
Food provides energy to the body to get us through each day. Eating healthy is extremely necessary if you are focused on a healthy body and the key element in healthy human development from early childhood until later stages in life.  Eating healthy reduces the risk of many chronic diseases.

We eat healthy foods to gain the nutrition our body wants. Take a in debt look at your  healthy food habits.  No single food collection can nourish the body with the entire nutrition it requires. You have to ensure that the food you are eating is to an advantage for your body.

Eating healthy will improve your daily activities and will in turn resist attacks and diseases of distinct kinds. 

Breakfast is the most important meal for the day. It improves one’s overall nutrition. A healthy breakfast consists of whole grains, fruits and protein.

Time is very precious and finding time to prepare meals is often a nightmare.  After a busy day’s work the family would like to spend some quality time together and therefor spend minimum time preparing a meal in the kitchen.
 
Be creative and use your imagination when is comes to preparing a quick meal.  Use leftovers or items already at home. Try to make sure that the following essential products are always in your kitchen.  Sliced meat, Chicken pieces, Mixed vegetables,  and sauces in the fridge.  In the cupboard I always have spaghetti, flower, soups and spices. I have never come across a child that does not like spaghetti and pastas. It is healthier to make something out of nothing at home than to buy unhealthy take always after a hard days work. It is also more cost effective.  You will be surprised to see what you come up with if you use your imagination and creativity in times like this. 

An outstanding basic rule to follow that helps insure healthier eating is the following. If the food that you are about to eat comes in a form very different from how it was in nature, it is most probably not healthy. This automatically rules out bottles, packaged as well as canned foods. This is however not the only healthy eating rule but it surely is a big step in the right direction.
